Ryan, I enjoy your writing a lot, but this statement stood out. You are not a terrible person — you are a person who sometimes does sinful things (as am I). That is not terrible. A terrible person is one who sins and has no remorse whatsoever. Sorry for splitting hairs a bit, but you may be too hard on yourself. Regardless, your commitment to God is one I greatly admire.
