I never lived abroad like you, but I know what it's like to make a decision that others just couldn't understand. And I've experienced that awkward silence from people who live in their own vortex and aren't the least bit curious about my life. Keep doing what you're doing. It doesn't matter what they think (but you already knew that 😉).
