Great article. It is the opposite effect when I run. If I think too hard about other things, it actually negatively impacts my pace. If I totally clear my mind of all the crap swirling in my head, my runs are much better.
However, if I’m on an elliptical or rower or some other machine, that’s when my creative ideas start surging. Whatever works, I guess.
