Four Medium Stories Worth Reading
for March 2019
2 min readMar 20, 2019
Sometimes we read a Medium story that is so good and deeply touches us, but yet it has very few claps.
I have committed to reviewing the stories that I clapped for in the past month and highlighting those that, in my humble opinion, deserve more recognition for their fine work.
Here is my list for March 2019:
- As a fellow introvert, I can relate to a lot of Garen Glazier’s story about why being friends with an introvert can be challenging. It offers sound advice for dealing with this type of personality.
- Michael Bonnell was one of my first Medium followers and his early support means a lot. You can feel his authenticity and passion for the things he writes about. This is just one of his pieces that I enjoyed reading.
- This story is Agnes Louis’ gut-wrenching account of her mother’s funeral and how some cultural norms prevent us from emotional displays. This is worth a read and should make us all re-think our own cultures and traditions.
- Zaid Dahhaj has a very direct and succinct writing style that I find refreshing. His short sentences get right to the point and mince no words. I can always count on his stories to light a fire under my butt. It feels like my brother yelling at me for motivation (that is a compliment, Zaid).
Four stories, each touching me in a unique way. I hope you enjoy them too.
