Four Medium stories that inspired me

In any given month, it is so difficult to narrow down the stories to highlight that resonated with me the most.

Which ones stuck with me long after reading them? Which ones made me really think? Which ones gave me a lump in my throat?

Here are my selections for this month that exceeded at least one of the above criteria. I encourage others to give these a read.

  • Craig “A1” Taylor wrote a beautiful letter to the father that left his family years ago. It could not have been easy to write, and it took a lot of guts on his part. I sincerely hope Craig got the closure he deserves.
  • Steven Hopper made a powerful statement about the state of our education system — how schools and curriculum focus way too much on memorizing facts than the critical thinking skills needed to succeed in this world. Steven and his fellow teachers deserve all the respect in the world for their dedication to our youth.
