I failed my driving test twice as a teenager. By (un)luck of the draw, I got the same guy both times, who was notoriously strict and failed me both times for things that other instructors would have overlooked. (The same guy failed my sister the prior year.) The third time was a different guy, who helped me relax and I finally passed it.

Good for you for sticking with it. Your writing is still awesome. I was in that car right along with you. Take care!
